Travel Around the World at Milwaukee's Premiere Multicultural Festival Explore the World of Music, Food, Dance, and Arts The 81st Holiday Folk Fair, a celebration of rich diversity of cultures in the Milwaukee area, takes place Nov. 22-24 at Exposition Center at State Fair Park in West Allis. Folk Fair's 2024 theme "Celebrate the Culture of Traditional Art" invites attendees to learn about how art expresses cultural heritage, traditions and beliefs. Experience this through international performers, an artisan corner, a children's area, a refugee exhibit, and more. Also highlighted are cultural murals created by Milwaukee Public Schools students and the Dirty Kettle Native American interactive display, Enjoy a wide variety of delicious cuisine from cultures around the globe at the World Cafe. The 2024 Featured Food is Traditional Desserts. Visitorscan taste sweets including Ukrainian honey cakes, French sweet crepes with Nutella and flavored jams, and Filipino Halo Halo, or sweet treats over shaved ice. Listen to live music, sample desserts, and sip beverages at the Coffee House. Get your blood pumping while you sing along and dance to music at the Tanzhaus. Learn about different cultures through exhibits at Heritage Lane. Watch opening and closing festival ceremonies and more than 25 cultural groups perform traditional dances at the All Nations Theater. A Naturalization Ceremony will be held on Nov. 22. Browse global vendors and get your holiday shopping done at the International Bazaar.
