UCFS Accreditation
In recent City Trees issues, including this one, you've
read some highlights from the awesome commu-
nities that have achieved UCFS Accreditation. Their
urban and community forestry programs stand out
as ones that have achieved the highest standards of
urban forest management. The UCFS Industry Trends
Committee has been hard at work refining and mod-
ernizing the organization's Accreditation program, and
we will soon unveil the new and improved version.
It will include streamlined standards and multiple
points of entry for achieving Accreditation status.
Look for more details to be announced soon.
