Peaceful, quiet and surrounded
by wildlife of all types, this course
was such a pleasure to play and so
beautiful to experience! We were
a mazed at the spacious estates
and mountain resort ho mes that
you barely noticed tucked a way in
the trees while playing the various
golf course holes. I could see myself
living there! Minutes fro m the " Chain
of Lakes" including Torch Lake, this
glacial-carved canvas was perfect
for fa med golf course architect, To m
Weiskopf, to design this incredible
masterpiece. We can't wait to co me
back and experience one or t wo of
the other resort courses. Or possibly
co me back for a ski trip to Schuss
Mountain at Shanty Creek Resort!
Up North Resort Living! With so
much to do and so little ti me, we
headed the next day to our last
round of golf on our trip to Cedar
River Golf Course at Shanty Creek
Resort in Bellaire, Michigan. It
was roughly a 4 0- minute drive
fro m do wnto wn Traverse City to
get to the golf course, but it was
certainly worth the trip. Cedar
