In 2024, four new UCFS committees joined several long-standing
ones. The leaders and members of these committees provide
their expertise and knowledge to help the organization meet its
mission to grow the confidence, competence, and camaraderie
of all professionals who manage trees and urban and community
forests. The committees achieved many things in 2024 including
launching Member and Friends Meet-Ups, organizing a highly
successful conference with more speakers than ever, and working
to organize a career development series for Young and Emerging
