Rachel said, "Serving as the President of UCFS is an honor made possible only through the help and support of many people. As President for just a little longer, I have the privilege to recognize someone who has made great impact to our field—but someone we lost too soon. Jarlath's work at the University of Vermont's Spatial Analysis Lab has been of immeasurable benefit to communities large and small. If your community has leveraged a land cover assess- ment, or established a tree canopy goal, you have Jarlath and his work to thank. Our community of practice advanced substantially due to his vast contributions. He will be sadly missed, and never forgotten." 20 CityTREES
