Viewers circle and stroll into the perennial garden, which coils like a mollusk shell, mesmerized by the experience of becoming a new moving part of this reengineered version of a smaller "Glass Spiral" of Webster's that the Milwaukee Art Museum com - missioned in 1990. The exhibit provides a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city living. "Glass Spiral," a meticulously fabricated replica of a renowned piece exhibited by the Milwaukee Art Museum in the 1990s, is a testament to this practice. The original artwork, admired for its delicate glasswork and intricate design, inspired Webster to recreate this masterpiece on a larger scale for Sculpture Milwaukee. We have faithfully replicated the original's form, texture, and overall aesthetic. The sculpture not only showcases Webster's artistic talents but also serves as a tribute to the Milwaukee Art Museum's legacy and a source of inspiration for future generations. Glass Spiral is located at Museum Center Park. For details, visit sculpturemilwaukee.com. Lakefront Festival of Art (LFOA) This colorful, vibrant festival of art, music, food, and fun celebrates its 60th anniversary at the Milwaukee Art Museum's lakeside campus June 13-15.
