UCFS News • Certified Urban Forest Professional Credential • Accreditation • MFI 2026 By Leslie Berckes, UCFS Executive Director Test Prep! UCFS is excited to work with the International Society of Arboriculture on the newly relaunched Certified Urban Forest Professional credential (for- merly ISA Municipal Specialist). A group of dedicated UCFS members and experts are pulling together a resource guide and study materials—including a prep course, practice quizzes, and study groups—to help you feel fully confident in taking the creden- tial exam. Look for these test prep materials to be rolled out throughout the rest of the year. UCFS Conference We're excited to welcome and celebrate current Certified Urban Forest Professional credential holders at a VIP event at this year's UCFS Conference. We will also host an informational session for anyone interested in obtaining the new Certified Urban Forest Professional credential. Come find out what it takes to sit for the exam, what will be covered on the exam, how you can prepare, CEU requirements, and why you should consider adding the Certified Urban Forest Professional credential to your resume! More details for each event will be made available as we get closer to the conference being held on November 17 and 18, 2025 in Henderson, Nevada.
