Skylight Music Theatre
Skylight Music Theatre's production of
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat," a cheerful antidote to
Milwaukee's chilly winter weather, runs
through Dec. 28 at the Broadway Theatre
Center's Cabot Stage.
The play follows the Biblical story of
Joseph, an idealist with a coat of many
colors and big dreams, and his struggles
and triumphs on his journey from local
misfit to the Pharaoh's second-in-
command, with themes of community,
faith, family and forgiveness.
Perfect for all ages, this family-friendly
musical features Mason Hanizeski
as Joseph, who wears a Technicolor
dreamcoat specifically designed by
Mark Thompson for Donny Osmond,
who played the lead role in the 1992
production.
"Joseph" showcases Andrew Lloyd
Webber's dynamic songs, performed by
more than a dozen talented young local
performers.
