Since 1994 PulseTech Products Corporation has been at the forefront of researching, developing and delivering next-generation battery testing, maintenance and charging systems. As a preferred supplier, PulseTech has worked closely with the military to provide lead-acid battery solutions for both tactical and combat vehicles as well as support equipment around the world. We have developed strategic, heavy-duty products designed to diagnose, maintain and prevent battery related problems. These products have brought improvement to in-the-field, day-to-day performance and have also extended battery life cycles. PulseTech products are designed to work with virtually any type of conventional flooded and sealed "maintenance-free" lead-acid batteries, including VRLA, AGM and gel cell. With our line-up of environmentally responsible products, PulseTech's diagnostic, preventative maintenance and corrective solutions and related battery management programs have produced impressive results, including improving the readiness of military vehicles and equipment plus saving millions of dollars in battery related expenses. Pulse Technology PulseTech has the solution to the premature battery death syndrome with our exclusive patented Pulse Technology, that will literally clean batteries of sulfation build up and restore them to normal operation. Battery sulfation is a wasting disease that claims the life of 80 percent of the batteries in use worldwide. As a battery ages through use or sits unused for periods of time, lead sulfate crystals enlarge and can build up excessively to the point where they create a physical barrier across the surface of the plate. Before long, this build-up can become so dense that a battery is no longer able to accept or release energy. ABOUT PULSE TECHNOLOGY Corporate Profile What makes Pulse Technology so unique and effective is our patented distinct pulse waveform. This waveform has a strictly-controlled rise time, pulsewidth, frequency and amplitude of current and voltage pulse. Pulse Technology removes and prevents the buildup of damaging lead-sulfate deposits on battery plates in a non-harmful way, so a battery can accept, store and release maximum power all the time. Pictured above are 87,000 'dead' batteries at Camp Doha, Kuwait. Using PulseTech's patented Pulse Technology over half of these batteries could have been recovered and put back in service. Effects of PulseTech's Pulse Technology on Sulfation These pictures are from an independent study comparing our Pulse Technology to conventional battery charging. The photos show actual battery plates after various charge and discharge cycles, which reveal the benefits of charging with Pulse Technology versus charging alone. The top row shows plates from actual batteries charged using PulseTech's patented Pulse Technology. The second row shows plates from batteries charged with a competitor's conventional charger. Note the development of lead-sulfate on the conventionally charged plates. 12-Volt Lead-Acid Batteries Charged with PulseTech Charger New – Never Filled 120 Cycles 240 Cycles 360 Cycles 0 Cycles 480 Cycles Even after hundreds of cycles, the batteries charged using Pulse Technology have no sulfate accumulation, ensuring that the batteries will still perform at their maximum peak capacity. 12-Volt Lead-Acid Batteries Charged with Typical Charger 800-580-7554 www.pulsetech.net 3
