Growing together From its beginning, the Washington Apple Education Foundation has been investing in the continued growth and health of farm communities. Funded and managed by the Washington agricultural industry, the WAEF is a grower supported foundation for managing community investments. WAEF funded community outreach programs offer aid and services to farmworkers and their families. In 2013 WAEF increased support for continuing education in rural communities: La Casa Hogar adult education programs; industry employee programs with Ready by Five and the Chelan Douglas Literacy Council; English as a Second Language education by the Friends of Buena Library. WAEF supports student excellence and unique education opportunities: Finance Park, an economics education program by Junior Achievement of Washington; Food Science research recognition at the Mid-Columbia with your support Please join Rears and our family of dealers in supporting the Washington Apple Education Foundation.
