Here are the scheduled exams and reviews: • Certified Automated Gate Operator Installer (CAGOI). Review: Thursday, March 6, 1 p.m.–2:45 p.m. Exam: Thursday, March 6, 3 p.m.–5 p.m. When properly specified and installed, gate systems need to provide the security level anticipated by the customer; but they must do so in a safe and reliable manner. The purpose of this program is to promote the safety awareness and pro- fessionalism of the gate operator installers. This designation has specific eligibility requirements prior to sitting for the exam. The Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA) is the certifying body. Exam: Thursday, March 6, 1 p.m.–5 p.m. The CFP designation recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to quality and improving standards within the fence industry. It is designed for manufacturers, suppliers, owners, project managers, estimators and office personnel to acquire a good understanding of specifications, material standards and installation techniques that help assure a first-class product for the customer. Re-certification is required on a three-year interval with a point system and minimum continuing education requirement.
