She grew up in Massachusetts but has called Wisconsin home since 2011 and went to college nearby at Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois. In her free time, Britni loves movies, restaurants, photography, Zumba, rock climbing and going to Blackhawk Church. The best gift she's ever received: "The best gifts are creative and meaningful rather than expensive—scrapbooks or collages of pictures of good times together with my best friends; although I really appreciated the Keurig my parents got me last year." BOBBI PETERSEN | PHOTOGRAPHS THROUGHOUT Bobbi Peterson is a vintage-inspired wedding and portrait photographer with a downtown Sun Prairie studio. She lives with her husband, Jon, and 1-year-old daughter, Sloan Riley. Bobbi adores trying new restaurants and wine, and time with her family outdoors. How she practices gratitude: "Through Operation Love: Reunited, which provides photography services to deployed soldiers and their families. Nothing compares to witnessing a child see his dad or mom step off the plane!" In her free time she likes writing music, making low-budget movies, cooking vegan food and painting. Her favorite places to spend time are thrift shops and the Rocky Mountains. The best Christmas gift she's ever received: "One of the most surprising was an alto saxophone I am still trying to figure out how to play—another favorite was registration in a pottery class." MARNI MCENTEE | "PERSPECTIVE," P. 16 AND "DWELL," P. 28 Marni McEntee is a veteran journalist who moved to Madison in 2011 after working for 13 years overseas as a correspondent, photographer and editor for Stars and Stripes. She has covered stories in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. She lives on the West Side with her husband. What she's grateful for: "This holiday season, and every day of the year, I'm simply grateful for being healthy and happy. So far so good. She shares her life with her partner Cathy, three teens, a dog and cat. Her favorite way to get outdoors in the winter: "I am a four-season bicyclist. I also love walking in the snow, especially in the evening when the streetlights shine through the flakes, making the world look magical."
