Hansen is a contributor for numerous magazines—including TIME, Milwaukee Magazine and Wine Enthusiast—and has volunteered at three organic farms. MARNI MCENTEE | "GREAT SEXPECTATIONS," P. 38 Marni is a veteran journalist who moved to Madison in 2011 after working for 13 years overseas as a correspondent, photographer and editor for Stars and Stripes. She has covered stories in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. She lives on the West Side with her husband. SHANNA WOLF | PHOTOGRAPHS THROUGHOUT Shanna is a Madison freelance photographer and stylist. She loves her work, and also loves dancing, music, traveling and good food. When she's not shooting or perfecting her closet, you'll find her on the bike path with her little white dog, Elroy, in her bike basket and her boyfriend close behind. LEIGH MILLS | "CATALYST," P. 72 Leigh is the evening anchor at NBC 15, where she is celebrating 10 years this fall. In addition to being honored with many local awards, Leigh is a National Edward R. Murrow Award and Emmy Award winner. She serves on the Domestic Abuse Intervention Services board of trustees and the Madison Ballet board of directors. CORY DANE | "SAVOR," P. 62 Corey serves as Madison's community director for Yelp, a website and mobile app with user-generated reviews. In addition to writing, partnering with businesses to coordinate hip happenings and sharing his favorite local findings bi-monthly on NBC 15, he eats…a lot, and is head over heels for the Chocolate Korova from Batch Bakehouse and the Mediterranean Plate at Natt Spil. KATHY BROZYNA | "SAVOR," P. 62 Kathy has been journaling her own cooking adventures and food stories on her blog Mangoes and Mojitos at mangoesandmoji- tos.wordpress.com for more than two years. She has recently begun featuring profiles of Madison's chefs on her latest blog: Town and Fork at townandfork.wordpress.com. Now that she's learned how to make crème brûlée she's looking forward to owning her very own torch! JAN MCNALLY | "HITTING BELOW THE BELT," P. 46 Jan is a freelance writer and community activist. As a five-year ovarian cancer survivor, she passionately spreads awareness about the symptoms of ovarian and other gynecologic cancers. Originally from New Jersey, she enjoys the ease of Midwest life in Madison with her husband, their three children and her best four-legged friend, Finny.
