"Smaller, lighter and more easily disposable packaging makes consumption on the go easier." e Keurig-style coee pod brings the biggest change. Pods are now mainstream grocery items: Euromonitor International marks a vefold increase in volume over the ve years ending in 2016. Pods are expected to lead growth in coee sales, with o-trade volume growth of 74 percent. Increasingly popular in homes and workplaces, single-serve pod machines now account for 20 percent of total coeemaker sales volume, up from 4 percent in 2006.
