(LMT Mercer Group photos) NAFCA slates Expo 2014 for December The North American Fence Con- tractors Association (NAFCA) has scheduled its NAFCA Expo 2014 for December 4–6, 2014 at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, Mis- souri. The Expo will include educational seminars, a trade show, product demonstrations, the fun and action- packed 2014 NAFCAR Champi- onship, association membership meet- ing and banquet. (Note: In the NAFCAR Champi- onship, racers compete on a downhill course in vehicles built entirely of fence materials, using nothing but gravity for propulsion.) Check the NAFCA web page for complete rules and building specifica- tions, as well as registration forms, and start building your car early. According to the organization, tickets to the Expo are available free from a NAFCA member, and must be registered by Friday, November 14, 2014 in order to be valid. NAFCA noted that a block of rooms has been reserved for Decem- ber 3, 2014 – December 7, 2014 at the Embassy Suites St. Charles. The special room rate will be available until November 3 or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.
