(ECGOI) recently hosted a "party" table top show which brought together dealers from the area and representatives from several access control manufacturers who detailed their latest product re- leases. "We had a sunny day of training and education from the manufacturers, who exhibited their new-to-come and existing innovative products," said Shawn Lalli, co-owner of ECGOI. "Special thanks goes to Joe Gibbs Racing for bringing the Fed Ex Ex- press #11 Camry and firing up and Star1000 programmable commercial access control receiver and the LA500 swing gate operator with MYQ tech- nology. • Eric Bobadilla and Anthony Sirolli of FAAC International showed off their in-ground S800 swing gate operator with battery backup, the new S418 electro-mechanical actuator arm with battery backup and the com- pany's new EO24U flagship controller that will now run all the 24VDC FAAC operators. • Josh McDaniels of Viking Ac- cess Systems demonstrated the new G-5 swing gate operator arm and the new V Flex master/slave controller. He also showed Viking's soon to be intro- duced solar gate operators and the A-11 column mount swing operator. As the educational sessions began, Brian Dickson from BDLoops pointed out the dos, dont's and whys of in- stalling loops. Afterwards, representatives from the manufacturers presented their new products and explained updated fea- tures. On hand were: • Luis Gutierrez of All-O-Matic, who debuted their new 1,600 lb. actu- ator arm and controller called the "Toro" as well as the new SL-45 DC brushless slide operator with optional rack drive. • Scott Breeden of Diablo Con- trols showed their innovative single saw cut loop and detector called the DSP-13 Tri-Axis Detection System, sold exclusively through ECGOI. • Bob Reiger and Lamar Jackson of DoorKing showed off the new wire- less tracker expansion boards and other access control items. • LiftMaster's Roberto Guerrero showed the new 850 and 811 receivers and transmitters as well as the new Photo above left: Table top attendees gather around the Joe Gibbs Racing #11 Camry which was on hand to thrill with its appearance and sound effects.
