26 | Boating Industry | May 2014 www.BoatingIndustry.com www.BoatingIndustry.com a 10 percent increase in fuel economy at cruising speeds. To maximize the fuel economy improve- ment provided by the Enertia ECO, Mercury Marine engineers designed a new propeller with a broad 16-inch diameter, large blade area and a high progressive rake, a combination made pos- sible only through using Mercury's proprietary X7 stainless steel alloy. NAUTIQUE G21 Based off the Super Air Nautique G23 hull, the G21 features the Nautique Confi gurable Run- ning Surface (NCRS), which fi ne-tunes the hull surface under any condition. This NCRS with Hydro-Plate is customizable to create a versatile wake for every level of riding, at any speed and line length. The optional Nautique Surf System with WAVEPLATE allows surfers the ability to keep the boat evenly weighted and switch the wave from each side in seconds without the need to offl oad ballast and people. NORTHSTAR THIN PLATE PURE LEAD MODULAR 8D BATTERY The "Thin Plate Pure Lead" manufacturing tech- nology allows for superior cranking and reserve capacity, more cold cranking amps, plus four times more charging cycles than fl ooded lead- acid batteries. NorthStar's product has the lowest internal resistance in the indus- try which virtually elimi- nates self-discharge and prevents the plates from sulfating, the number one cause of battery failure. PERKO INLET CHECK VALVE Perko's new in-pipe inlet check valve offers an alternative to inline ICVs installed to pre- vent fuel leakeage. The valve is installed inside the standard 1-1/2" fill pipe it- self, eliminating the two potential leak points inherent with inline ICVs. The valve also retrofi ts into exist- ing non-EPA fuel systems that are prone to fuel leakage or wellback problems. The ICV handles fl ow rates up to 18 gallons/minute and can be installed on systems using either plastic or alu- minum fuel tanks. PETTIT HYDROCOAT ECO Hydrocoat Eco combines Pettit's exclusive self- polishing, water-based, ablative technology with the highest level of metal-free organic Econea biocide – a powerful slime-fighting inhibi- tor – to provide envi- ronmentally friendly, multi-season protection for boats in the toughest marine environments. The new formula has low volatile organic compounds (VOCs), is copper-free and has no heavy solvent smell. Available in white, blue, red, green and black. PONTOON WHOLESALERS POLY 3RD TUBE KIT Pontoon Wholesalers offers an integrated third tube aftermarket pontoon kit designed to offer the same benefi ts as a new production tri-tube pontoon boat with increased performance, ride, handling and fuel effi ciency. The kit also helps two-tube boats eliminate cavation and weight distribution problems. With the custom alumi- num J-Channel, the Poly Pontoon Sections slide right into place and are fi rmly held to boat. J- Channel also helps strengthen the boat for in- creased performance and durability. PTM EDGE PXR100 PRO The PTM Edge PXR100 Pro pontoon mirror system provides a 100-degree fi eld of view with prescription grade optics and a high defi nition image, all housed in a rugged ABS backing. The mirror sits atop a milled alumi- num billet bracket that attaches to the side rail of the boat without drilling or damaging the boat. The mirror system features an easy-turn knob that allows the mirror and bracket to be easily folded down forward or aft when the captain wants to cover or transport the boat. PURSUIT SC 365 The SC 365 features twin Yamaha F-350s that deliver a top-end speed in excess of 43 mph and cruise speeds in the 30 mph rage. The bridge deck offers unobstructed views for the captain and crew. The single-level cockpit features a wide open aft deck and entertainment center. The interior features natural light through a combination of hull side windows and overhead skylights. The full beam mid-cabin has two sin- gle beds or converts to a queen.
