tions, and ensuring that combustible features such as dual 48 in.
stainless steel grills and the custom natural gas fireplace met the
local/state building setback requirements. Materials used were
multi-sized tumbled products, smooth/tight Umbriano pav-
ers, colors to complement buildings, contrasting colors border
the patio and walkway, and accents within the kitchen island
and curved fireplace. The fireplace, refrigerator and sink were
outdoor rated features. Kitchen features such as the refrigera-
tor, ice bin, grills (rotisserie and infra-red broiler), sink, faucet
and access doors were all stainless steel to match. Midnight Sky
patio border, used as vertical accents in outdoor kitchen, are
lit at night. An imported 4 x 18 in. Midnight Sky beltline was
incorporated within the adjacent fireplace. Curved full-nose
accents were mitered to "top-off" the curved fireplace and added
to the kitchen island. The project also features massive twin
engineered cedar pergolas, brushed coral gold granite (outdoor
kitchen countertop/preparation area) and reflective copper fire
glass for the fireplace.
