They are focused on improving the health and well-being of the people and the environment at each of our business locations around the world. Constellation's CSR platform is based upon three pillars, sustainability, giving and social responsibility. Sustainability. Because we rely on the land for our livelihood, it is critical that Constellation does all it can to ensure clean water, air and soil at all our sites throughout the world. The company's aim is to look for ways to improve the environment, while also minimizing Constellation's collective impact. Some of our accomplishments are Constellation installed 17.000 solar panels at many of our facilities in California giving us the largest solar footprint in the U.S. wine industry. A few other examples of Constellations sustainability initiatives are energy effi ciency, water treatment, riparian restoration, natural farming, alternative packaging and many others. Giving. Through corporate donations and employee volunteerism, Constellation supports a wide range of charitable causes related to the arts, education and health care. Some examples are the Haiti earthquake relief fund; we are a proud partner of the V foundation for Cancer research; and contributions given to the Rochester General Health System's Sands-Constellation Heart Institute. Social Responsibility. Constellation actively supports a number of organizations that promote responsible drinking and address the societal impact of the misuse of beverage alcohol, including The Century Council. We also abide by our Global Code of Responsible Practices for Beverage Alcohol Advertising and marketing and are an active participant in industry self-regulatory efforts.
