Dyeing to Find the Troublesome Leak The TP-3900 Dye-Lite Coolant/Auto Body Dye is a fluorescent dye that shows leaks in radiators, hoses, water pumps and fittings. Wherever the coolant leaks, the dye remains at the leak site. When the system is scanned with an ultraviolet or blue light inspection lamp, the dye glows bright green.
