14 BRAVA MAGAZINE | JUNE 2014 CONNECT ENGAGING COMMUNITY /BRAVAmagazine @bravamagazine @bravamagazine RANTS+RAVES I received your May magazine and while perusing it, came across the article, "The Positive Power of Grief," (DELVE IN, May 2014). The article itself is good, but the title is off the mark. No one in grief wants to hear about how it may be positive or that they could use the pain to help others. I've been writing for and editing a grief newsletter for over 20 years and would never use those titles. It is something that you can work up to believing and can be hinted at, but not starkly stated. I did really like the writer's comments on how they turned this sadness into something meaningful. Doing so, though doesn't take away your grief, it just diffuses it. –Barb Seth, McFarland Thanks again for the opportunity to appear in last month's issue (FASHIONISTA, May 2014). Ali and I are honored to be included and have gotten such wonderful calls and messages from people who saw it! –Debbie Garten, Just the Two of Us jewelry, Waunakee Loved the focus on travel.
