A five-section, telescopic boom upperworks combined with a crawler lowerworks, gives the new SCC8100TBXL model provides the dual advantages of a crawler crane and hydraulic crane. The machine features a boom that uses heavy-duty nylon rope instead of the commonly used steel cable, enabling a lighter weight boom design with no sacrifice in boom strength. The machine is particularly well suited for road and bridge building. The SCC8100TBXL crane has a maximum lift capacity of 110 tons, a maximum boom height of 155.8 feet, total counterweight of 81,570 pounds, and maximum gradeability of 60 percent. A 300-hp Cummins QSL9-C300 Tier 4 Interim-certified engine powers the SCC8100TBXL crane. Its Porsche- designed UltraCab 2 provides optimum operator comfort and safety. New Bradco Quik Pik Multipurpose Grapple Paladin Attachments has partnered with Star Hill Solutions Inc. to introduce the NEW Bradco Quik Pik Multi- Purpose Grapple for skid steers. This multi-purpose grapple tool is versatile enough to manage brush, logs, hay bales, rocks and pipe or culverts, as well as standard pallet jobs. The Bradco Quik Pik base unit has a patented dual hydrau- lic boom and curved tines allowing for safe handling of materials which wrap around and against irregular-shaped objects and loads for additional stabilization. The base unit is equipped with a removable landscape shoe that provides a platform to stabilize loads against the face-plate. Combine the base unit with the optional fork tines and/or brush rake and the Bradco Quik Pik easily becomes an all-in-one multi- purpose attachment with the material handling capabilities of multiple attachments, such as pallet forks, brush grapples, bale spikes, manure forks, and log grapples.
