Halcyon multi-zone equipment offers ultra-high efficien- cy—with ratings of up to 18 SEER and 9.5 HSPF—quiet, reliable operation and sleek design. Contractors can select either 18,000, 24,000, 36,000 or 48,000 BTU outdoor units combined with wall-mounted, floor mounted, slim duct and compact cassette indoor units in 7,000, 9,000, 12,000, 15,000, 18,000 or 24,000 BTUs, depending on indoor style selected. New to the lineup in 2014 is the addition of floor mount units in 9,000, 12,000 and 15,000 BTU/h. These small (less than 24" high and 30" wide) indoor units were developed specifically for residential and light commercial retro- fit applications, ideally to replace standing radiators or any space with limited upper wall space like a kitchen or sunroom. Also new in 2014 is the addition of 7,000 BTU/h compact cassette and slim duct models to the multi-zone lineup. Mix-and-match flexibility of evaporator (air handler) type and capacity allows installers to choose the indoor unit that best fits the application. Honeywell, a leader in managing home comfort and security for 125 years, is today launching the Lyric™ thermostat to put you back in control. The Lyric thermostat knows when you are com- ing and going, based on smartphone location, to deliver comfort when you're home and savings when you're away. The Lyric thermostat is the first offering in a new family of innovative connected home products from Honeywell, the rec- ognized category leader found in more than 150 million homes globally. Using the location of your smartphone, the geofencing feature automatically turns the Lyric thermostat into energy saving mode when a home is empty, and then senses when you are coming home and heats or cools the house to your preferred temperature. The Fine Tune feature fac- tors indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, and weather into its algorithm, enabling it to provide the most comfort- able temperature for homeowners.
