With a narrow frame and a 40-inch drop pattern, this spreader is ideal for spreading material on sidewalks and other narrow walkways. The stainless- steel construction prevents premature failure due to rust and corrosion. The compres- sion roller system allows operators to accurately spread both coarse and free flowing materials. An easy gate adjustment allows for fine tuning flow rates based on the type of material being spread and the desired quantity being applied. The wireless remote control regulates five motor speeds for quick flow adjustments from the operator seat. A state-of-the-art agitation system prevents material bridging and eliminates the need for a traditional, noisy vibration motor. New VBX spreader from The Boss Snowplow The Boss Snowplow introduced the VBX spreader, its first V-Box spreader featuring an 8-foot poly hopper with 2 cubic yards of capacity. Customers can choose from both pintle chain and auger feed options. The VBX Spreader's stainless-steel drive train components are corrosion resistant for reduced maintenance and longer life. Both the pintle chain and the auger system feature a heavy-duty design for long life and reli- ability. On the pintle chain option, an exclusive chain cleaning brush removes excess material, while a proprietary chain-link shield keeps excess debris from coming in contact with the chain. Also an exclusive VBX pintle chain feature, a full-length, slide-out tray captures any falling de-icing material, keeping it from the truck's bed, which greatly reduces corrosion damage to the vehicle. Powered by a completely sealed, 1/2-horsepow- er, stainless-steel motor, The Boss VBX spreader is designed for reliability. Henke HXC2000 spreader Henke's HXC2000 spreader is a V-Box spreader that features a removable convey- ing cartridge. The replaceable cartridge is not only easier to service and repair, it also allows users to choose between an auger, dual auger, pintle chain, or belt conveyor, providing a new level of versatility to snow and ice management. Standard features of the HXC2000 include fully replaceable conveyor cartridge; remote chain tension- ing, wide base rails and conveyor for more consistent spread and minimizing of mate- rial bridging; No tool adjustment spinner deflectors; telescoping discharge chute for even high flow rates; spinner drive "shed" design to prevent clogging and fouling in the chute; and safety features allowing tool free access for routine maintenance.
