Th e charged water also kills germs and bacteria, including E.coli and salmonella. Tests by the University of Massachusetts at Lowell found the
system cleans as well as, or in some cases better than, chemical cleaners. Th e trigger sprayer resembles a cordless drill, with built-in 12-volt nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery below a half-liter water reservoir.
