AS THOUGH CAPTURED THROUGH A KALEIDOSCOPE, HIS IMAGES TURN THE TERRESTRIAL INTO THE OTHERWORLDLY. A SOLO EXHIBITION OF HIS WORK, "CLIMATE VORTEX SUTRA," IS ON VIEW THROUGH OCTOBER 25 AT SALON 94. SALON94.COM FAMILY AFFAIR Brothers Gabriel Kakon (left) and Scott Richler have opened up the first flagship showroom of their successful lighting and furniture collection: Gabriel Scott. For her inaugural show, Shladovsky collaborated with filmmaker Sayer Danforth to present "UNSCENE," a film installation that documents the duo's road trip throughout the Southwest as they attempt to photograph modern furniture in unexpected natural environments. On view October 15 through November 15, half of all proceeds will go to the Blind Childrens Center of Los Angeles. azadehshladovsky.com A still from "UNSCENE," a film collaboration by Azadeh Shladovsky and Sayer Danforth David Benjamin Sherry's Lunar Synthesis, Oregon Coast, 2014
