The modular service does not re- quire set up, installation and equipment costs. Instead, the user pays a fi xed monthly fee for remote structural monitoring. In exchange, online accessible reports of your structures are pro- vided, customized to your own specifi c requirements – includ- ing, for example, the use of SMS or email alarms as an alert to signs of possible structural problems. Kubota adds R530 and R630 wheel loader models Kubota has added two additional models to its compact wheel load- er lineup, the 47.9-horsepower R530 and 61.2-horsepower R630, in a press event this week that was capped by the company's long- awaited announcement it was entering the skid steer market. The R530 loader has an 8.2-foot clearance, allowing you to work under low-hanging branches and low bridges. It has a 25-foot 4-inch loader clearance circle turning radius and a with-bucket rated op- erating capacity of 2,546 pounds. The R630's electronic hydrostatic transmission has four operating modes – normal, eco, power and attachment – to handle specifi c tasks. The R630 is Kubota's fi rst wheel loader entry into the 60 to 80 horsepower range. With a dump clearance of 8 feet 3 inches, the R630 has 27-foot-3 inch loader clearance circle and a standard bucket capacity of 1 yard. Volvo C-Series motor graders provide 5-percent fuel savings Designed to handle a range of grading applications, Volvo has introduced its new C-Series motor graders, including the G930C, G940C, G946C (AWD) and G960C. The series has Volvo's D8J engines, which deliver a savings of up to 5 per- cent in fuel consumption compared to the previous models. The engines have three variable power ranges with a standard 8-speed transmission and eight variable power ranges with an optional 11-speed transmission. Both transmissions provide self-calibration for smooth gear changes. Additional features new to the graders include an engine idle shutdown system with variable time delay settings, an anti-theft system, LED headlights, LED work lights and a portable LED service light for the engine compartment.
