WORLD FENCE NEWS • DECEMBER 2014 • 15 Perennial favorite Orlando, Florida to host FENCETECH 2015 Orlando, Fla., a favorite of fam- ilies and the host city of many past FENCETECH shows, will again wel- come fence, deck and railing industry professionals to FENCETECH 2015. The annual convention and trade exhibition of the American Fence As- sociation will be held Feb. 3-6, 2015 at the Orange County Convention Center. Attendee dates are Feb. 3-6, 2015, while exhibit hours are Feb. 4-6. As we do every year, we will pre- view the highlights of the upcoming show in this special section. In addition, you will fi nd the offi - cial FENCETECH attendee brochure inserted in this edition. If the brochure has been removed by someone else, please visit the offi cial FENCETECH web site at www.americanfenceas- sociation/fencetech. You may also download an electronic version direct- ly from the site. Additional information may be obtained by calling 800-764-2488. At the web site, you can book ac- commodations at the host hotels, the Rosen Centre Hotel and the Rosen Plaza Hotel. The Rosen Centre is the offi cial headquarters hotel, and is con- nected to the Orange County Conven- tion Center by a skywalk. The Rosen Plaza is adjacent to the convention center. The AFA has booked blocks of rooms in each of these facilities. You may contact the Rosen Cen- tre directly at 800-204-7234, and the Rosen Plaza at 800-627-8258. Whether booking through the AFA dedicated web site or calling di- rectly, be sure to identify yourself as part of the AFA group. As with most convention cities, there are numerous local transporta- tion modes available. Be sure to check out the Taking an I-RIDE Trolley, one of the most convenient and least ex- pensive ways to explore the Interna- tional Drive resort area. Trolley stops are located in front of the West and North/South Buildings on I-Drive. Trolley passes are available for pur- chase at the OCCC guest services desk. The AFA notes that spouses and children are welcome on the show fl oor. Spouses must register and sub- mit proper method of payment. Children under the age of 17 are free and will receive wristbands at any onsite registration counter. A parent/ guardian must accompany minors un- der the age of 18 on the exhibit fl oor. Fence, deck and railing industry professionals may attend the show, but will be subject to non-member rates. It is important that attendees effi - ciently plan their use of show hours in order to visit all companies of interest. To help in that effort, you will fi nd a list of exhibitors as well as their booth numbers (accurate as of publication date, although subject to change). Use this to map your trade show strategy. Also, as a registered attendee, you will receive the offi cial FENCETECH 2015 Pocket Guide at the show. AFA notes that casual attire is ac- ceptable at any AFA national or chap- ter event unless otherwise noted.
