I'm very grateful to Richie for the mentoring he's provided over the last four years, which has prepared me to step into this new role and attempt to fi ll his shoes. My goal is to continue the stability and consistent quality he established and maintained for nearly a quarter-century as head of this magazine. There will certainly be changes (many of which were begun earlier this year), but you can expect Beverage Dynamics to continue its focus on providing the news, information, advice, reviews and analysis that beverage retailers need to successfully run their businesses. I've been part of the Beverage Group at Beverage Dynamics' parent company EPG Media & Specialty Information since 2010, working as both a managing editor and digital editor on this magazine and others in the group. I'm familiar with the beverage alcohol industry and the concerns of retail store managers. I've even met many of you at past BDLive! conferences. If you'd like to know more about me and what I'm working on, be sure to check out the new Beverage Dynamics blog, "Off-Premise (And Sometimes Off- Topic)" at www.beveragedynamics.com. I'll be updating the blog regularly with photos from industry events, thoughts on trends and analysis of the latest beer, wine and spirits data. Lastly, I want to hear from you. Are you interested in joining the editorial advisory board? Would you make a good addition to the national retailer wine panel? Is your store worthy of a profi le in Beverage Dynamics, or being a source in an upcoming feature? If the answer to any of those questions is "yes," or if you'd just like to reach out and say hello, my email is jnedelka@specialtyim.com and my phone number is 203-855-8499 x213. Jeremy Nedelka Editor GET TO KNOW THE NEW EDITOR Jeremy lives in Connecticut with his wife Kathryn and cairn terrier Carrie. His favorite drink is a Kentucky Orange Blossom (made with Bourbon, orange juice and Triple Sec).
