Kongcrete is a concrete substitute made of expanding urethane foam that comes in a kit which includes two bottles. The user simply pours the contents of the smaller bottle into the larger bottle, shake it for 30 seconds and pour the contents into the post hole around the post. The Kongcrete expands around the post filling the space quickly and sets up in less than three minutes, which allows the installer to begin building the fence almost immediately, Wilson said. "It cures completely in less than two hours and is twice as dense as the soil around it," he said. "This will allow the fence contrac- tor to set and build the fence job the same day, saving the cost for an additional trip to the job site to build the fence after the conventional concrete has set. "It will also save the labor of car- rying 80 pound bags of concrete and the labor involved in mixing. Jobsite mess is eliminated because Kongcrete does not need water or mixing con- tainers," Wilson said. Kongcrete comes in small, medi- um, large and extra large kits to match any post setting job the fence company has avail- able. The product comes in pallets of 770 kits to the pallet and 10 pallets to the container. Bulk quantities will also be available in 2015, Wilson added.
