Welcome... Traditionally, the fate of February's pleasantness or unpleasantness in Milwaukee County is determined by whether or not the Milwaukee County Zoo's groundhog, Wynter, sees her shadow. But looking at the diverse events and welcoming neighborhoods of Milwaukee County, it's clear that fun and memorable experiences are available even if the shadow appears. Milwaukee County stays lively in cold weather, from ice skating at Red Arrow Park to sledding at parks across the county. For indoor activities, try one of our world class restaurants and pubs, take in a Bucks game or check out the latest in automotive technology at the Greater Milwaukee Auto Show. No matter what you choose to do in Milwaukee County, I hope you enjoy your time with us. Chris Abele, Milwaukee County Executive Crisp air and snowy landscapes greet visitors to Milwaukee this time of year.
