Cedarburg Winter Festival J Bed Racing Competition at 1:30 p.m. Next are the Barrel Races on Ice at 2 p.m. After the barrel races, the pond opens to family skating or skate at the ice rink in Cedar Creek Park, Mill Street and Portland Avenue. Grown-up fun is on tap Sat- urday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Cool Brew & Tunes, a beer and food tasting featuring music by the Piano Brew Dueling Pianos. The event is located at the Cedarburg Community Center and includes a home brew competition. Tickets are available at the center from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. or at the door. Sunday morning, enjoy the Pancake Breakfast at WKH&RPPXQLW\&HQWHU 8-11:30 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., the "under 7 set" ventures outdoors to hunt for treats. Also on Sunday, top dogs compete in the Dog Weight Pull Competi- tion from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Throughout the week- end, merchants feature special sales, live music and family activities. The Shops of Cedar Creek Settlement feature live music on Saturday and Sunday, with Cedar &UHHN:LQHU\RǺHULQJ complimentary sampling and the settlement's bou - tique shops welcoming browsers. Beautifully preserved 19th century architecture makes Cedarburg a popular destina- tion. The entire downtown was named to the National Register of Historic Places in WKHPLGV6WRQHEXLOG- ings, picturesque churches and Victorian homes create a delightful spot for strolling, shopping and dining.
