I enjoyed this year's conference on a number of levels. I appreciated the solid turnout and interesting ideas and opinions brought to Milwaukee. Technically, it was solid. The cutting edge information on EAB such as the Branch Sampling Workshop is an invaluable new tool for municipalities. Socially, it was fun. From the Urban Forest Foundation fundraising event on Sunday to the after-hour gatherings—some planned and some spontaneous—we enjoyed each other's company and made new friends. The conference committee should be proud of the result; a special thanks to its chair and our host, Dave Sivyer, and his staff for creating a memorable experience for us.
