Currently there are 54 biodiesel
producers, nearly 40 marketers and 13
laboratories certified under the robust
BQ-9000 program, with more certifica-
tions in progress. As of the end of 2014,
92% of the biodiesel produced in the
U.S. by National Biodiesel Board mem-
ber companies came from a BQ-9000
Certified Producers.

The Kansas City-based office of Crestwood
Midstream has announced that its new
propane rail facility in Davisville, R.I., is
now open.
The new facility provides propane
marketers across the New England region
with much-needed reliability. Its strategic
location—far closer in proximity than
other propane sources—is 20 miles from
Providence, 50 miles from Cape Cod
and just three miles from the ferry that
serves Nantucket. Three 60,000-gallon
storage tanks and a dual state-of -the-art
truck rack enable fast loading of up to 50
trucks per day.
And, with the potential for conve-
nient rail service seven days a week,
marketers can now see greater product
availability through Seaview.

CALLS FOR EPA tO ACt ON RFS
The National Biodiesel Board has asked
the EPA to immediately establish biod-
iesel volumes under the Renewable Fuel
Standard as it highlighted fallout from
the Administration's ongoing failure to
establish functioning renewable fuels
policy for the second consecutive year.
Industry leaders said the EPA's recent
decision to allow streamlined imports of
biodiesel from Argentina under the RFS
has only added new urgency to the need
for stable policy.
In a letter to EPA Administrator Gina
McCarthy, former biodiesel producer
and NBB Governing Board Member Ben
Wootton challenged McCarthy's recent
comments suggesting that the RFS delays
haven't hurt renewable fuels industries.
Wootton lost his Pennsylvania biodiesel
plant, Keystone Biofuels, in bankruptcy
