UPI EnErgy LP sELEcts AWE
Automated Wireless Environments, a
leader in wireless technology to the petro-
leum industry has announced that UPI
Energy LP (Guelph, ON) will license the
AWE wireless delivery real-time software
to communicate UPI's back-office enter-
prise system with their fleet of delivery
vehicles across Ontario. AWE will inter-
face their wireless delivery software with
RoadNet, a leader in routing software to
maximize UPI's delivery efficiencies.
As a 50/50 Joint Venture of Suncor
Energy Products Inc. and GROWMARK,
Inc., UPI Energy LP is a fully independent
province-wide marketer of gasoline's, die-
sel fuels, home heating energy products,
lubricants and related energy services to
rural Ontario. On an annual basis, UPI
Energy LP markets approximately half a
billion liters of petroleum, propane and
lubricant products to thousands of cus-
tomers across Ontario, including agricul-
tural member co-operatives. Both Suncor
Energy Products Inc. and GROWMARK,
Inc. are clients of AWE.
AWE Enterprise Software, together
with their state of the art suite of wireless
software products, creates a true auto-
mated and wireless environment with real
time connectivity to the customer's field
force. All of the AWE products are exclu-
sively designed for the Petroleum Indus-
try. AWE expanded its wireless products
by adding a fleet re-fueling solution in
2000 and a transport module in 2007.
