ECGO thanks vendors and dealers for making
2015 technical session a success
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – East Coast Gate Operators (ECGO), home of
the ECGO phone entry system, has issued a big "thank you" to the vendors,
dealers and guests who made its March 25 educational event a success.
This was the eighth year for the annual event, and again the session had
a NASCAR flavor, as Denny Hamlin's #11 FedEx spring car was on ex-
hibit to be seen, and heard. Also on hand was the Corvette Racing Team's
awesome C7.R.

East Coast Gate Operators
adds keypad unit to ECGO
cell phone entry system
CHARLOTTE, N.C. –
Access controls wholesale distributor
East Coast Gate Operators (ECGO)
has added a keypad unit – the
ECGO-GKP – to the ECGO-G cell
phone entrty system. ECGO was the
original inventor and manufacturer
of the ECGO cell phone entry system
technology, which came on the market
in 2008. The company also developed
the ECGO App for easy program-
ming.
The units operate on 12 to 24 volt
DC/AC, and are designed to work in
operating temperatures of -20 degrees
C to 50 degrees C. They are contained
in a weatherproof stainless steel hous-
ing.
The ECGO-G holds 100 user/
guests phone numbers for opening the
gate, which can be done using either
mobile phones or land lines, while the
ECGO-GKP accommodates 1,200 us-
ers and 400 codes. It also features text
or email reporting of who accesses the
gate, sent right to the property owner's
phone.
The units feature call forwarding,
and will ring up to three numbers in
sequence. If the first number is not an-
swered, calls will forward to the next
number on list.
Both the ECGO-G and
ECGO-GKP models may be surface
mounted or flush mounted, and are
latch opened. They come with a high
gain antenna. No trenching is required
for installation.
East Coast Gate Operators has
over 30 years of experience in the gate
operator and access controls industry.
They offer products from some of the
top manufacturers, including slide and
swing gate operators, safety edges and
beams, gate hardware, telephone entry
systems, parking controls, gate locks,
loop detectors and loops, and various
accessories.

Things you learn at the movies
• During all police investigations
it will be necessary to visit a strip
club at least once.
• If being chased through town,
you can usually take cover in a
passing St. Patrick's Day parade –
at any time of the year.
• All beds have special L-shaped
cover sheets which reach up to the
armpit level on a woman but only to
waist level on the man lying beside
her.
• It's easy for anyone to land a
plane providing there is someone in
the control tower to talk you down.
• Once applied, lipstick will never
rub off – even while scuba diving.
• If you need to reload your gun,
you will always have more ammuni-
tion – even if you haven't been car-
rying any before now.
