As head of Leitzes & Co, Cary Leitzes forges creative links between fashion, art and culture with commercial brands, creating new concepts to expand their profiles internationally. She was an early champion of intertwining different markets and brokered her first campaign in 2005, marrying LeSportsac with Brazilian artist collective assume vivid astro focus. The iconic rip-stock nylon bags were emblazoned with AVAF's offbeat aesthetics, giving the French sports brand a sense of irreverence while opening up a new audience to its work. Before launching her own creative consultancy, Leitzes was a bookings editor at W, then a photo editor at Jane and photography director at Harper's Bazaar. The industry consultant has spearheaded a number of collaborations between artists and commercial brands, including fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez's partnership with MAC Cosmetics and Rob Pruitt with Jimmy Choo for the label's 2013 Cruise collection.
