GLASS HOUSE
The Corning Museum of Glass has stepped into the contemporary
arena with a 26,000-square-foot new building designed by Thomas
Phifer and Partners dedicated to glass art and design from the
last 25 years. The collection includes pieces from masters of the
material, like Dale Chihuly and James Carpenter, as well as
unexpected selections from Robert Rauschenberg and Kiki Smith.
