Don't miss Milwaukee's winter Gallery Night and Day
MILWAUKEE'SGALLERYNIGHT and Day in January is one of themost active of the quarterly gallery hopping events, despite the possibility of lowtemperatures.
This year's event on the night of Jan. 20 and during the day on Jan. 21 featuresmore than 44 venues, fromsmall and large private galleries in the Historic ThirdWard and East Town areas of down- townMilwaukee to participating hotels,museums and retailers.
In keepingwith the season, ice sculptorswill be at work in Catalano Square, 147N. Broadway at the south end of theHistoric ThirdWard.

As usual the GalleryNight Xpresswill provide a warmand free shuttle fromtheHistoric Third Ward parking structures to participating locations. This year, a second Xpress routewill go to and fromtheHARLEY-DAVIDSONMUSEUM. The museumwill be featuringWatercolors byWillie G., an exhibition ofWillie G. Davidson's idyllic rural scapes and still lifewatercolors paintings. They hint at the time he spent riding through the coun- tryside during 48 years as a pacesetter inmotorcy- cle design.
Anothermuseumsure to attract attention is the GROHMANNMUSEUM, 1000N. Broadway, where the legacy ofwork inMilwaukee is explored through documentary photos and site histories of
