SOME FAVORITES Roosevelt Park Zoo North Dakota's oldest zoo has been a long-time favorite for residents and visitors alike. The flood of 2011 was a difficult time for this city treasure. But our animals are safe, thanks to many zoos who came to help from around the region and country. Our gibbons and zebras are visiting Bismarck while our penguins are visiting St. Paul, Minnesota. During the flood, the Minot Park District established a rebuilding fund to which many people have graciously donated. We love our zoo. Corbett Field 1219 E Burdick Expy This nostalgic ballpark is home to the exciting MSU Beavers and Minot Vistas American Legion baseball teams. With plans to sod the field as soon as weather permits, we're expecting the national pastime to once again be enjoyed in summer 2012. The Scandinavian Heritage Park is also home to the Scandinavian Heritage Visitors Center.
