SOME FAVORITES Roosevelt Park Zoo North Dakota's oldest zoo has been a long-time favorite for residents and visitors alike. The flood of 2011 was a difficult time for this city treasure. But our animals are safe, thanks to many zoos who came to help from around the region and country. Our gibbons and zebras are visiting Bismarck while our penguins are visiting St. Paul, Minnesota. During the flood, the Minot Park District established a rebuilding fund to which many people have graciously donated. We love our zoo. We look forward to welcoming our animals back—and our visitors, too! Get progress updates at www.rpzoo.com.
