Visitors to the region are accustomed to playing gorgeous courses and lush, green fairways that weave their way through the Souris River valley. Many of our courses were inundated during the flood of 2011. Our Minot Country Club, once rated the state's best classic course by Golfweek magazine, was one of them. The Jack Hoeven Wee Links, North Dakota's only junior golf course made specifically for kids, was another. We are working hard to reopen these courses and restore them to being some of the best courses in the region. To find out about course openings, please contact the Minot Convention & Visitors Bureau. Meanwhile, enjoy nearby courses in Velva, Kenmare, Mohall, Westhope and Bottineau, as well as the Roughrider Golf Course, open to the public at the Minot Air Force Base (701-723-3164).
