National Drowning Prevention Symposium is on the horizon The National Drowning Preven- tion Alliance's 11th annual Drowning Prevention Symposium is scheduled for March 7-10, 2012 in San Diego. It will be held at the Grand Hyatt Mission Bay, located on the marina. A panel of speakers will address a wide range of topics related to drown- ing prevention, including prevention of child drownings and non-fatal sub- mersions. The NDPA's special guest will be Christine Jennings, medal winning long distance open water swimming athlete.
