CONTRIBUTORS 58 CULTURED Based in New York and traveling the world, TED LOOS indulges his short attention span by covering art, architecture, wine and food. GIOVANNA DUNMALL is a London-based freelance journalist who writes about design, architecture, the arts and travel for Mark, Frame, Metropolis, Icon, Wallpaper, Condé Nast Traveler, The Guardian and The Sunday Times. "Getting a first glimpse of the new Prada Foundation was a bit like going on a treasure hunt, every corner turned revealed a new surprise or unexpected secret. It is one of the most rewarding and layered architectural spaces I have seen in a long time. And an incredibly rich backdrop for all the arts, not just painting, photography and sculpture." DEGEN PENER is a contributing editor of culture at The Hollywood Reporter and writes for Veranda, Interior Design and The New York Times, among others. He was previously editor-in-chief of Angeleno magazine. "In interviewing Lisa Schiff I confirmed my suspicion that hers is anything but a cookie-cutter approach to advising." SIMON WATSON is a celebrated portrait, travel and interior photographer living between New York and Dublin. His photography regularly appears in The New York Times, W, Vanity Fair España and Travel + Leisure. Watson's work has also appeared in numerous group exhibitions, including a solo show at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Poland. For this issue, Watson photographed Lisa Yuskavage at David Zwirner Gallery and Cecily Brown at Maccarone.
