Following the great time at Summerfest at Henry W. Maeir Festival Park, we have high expectations for Festa Italiana and German Fest at the same lakefront location. Whether you stop by beautiful Bradford Beach for some vol - leyball or sunbathing, ride your bicycle on the Oak Leaf Trail, or hop over to Bastille Days in Cathedral Park, we know you will enjoy summer in Milwaukee. KEY Milwaukee is a valuable resource for exploring the many activities available to you this month. We hope you enjoy your time in Milwaukee County. Milwaukee is a city of superb festivals that highlight our history, our natural beauty and our residents' ethnic backgrounds. We start July with a bang - literally - with our Third of July fireworks celebrating our nation's independence. That coincides with the final days of Summerfest. But our lakefront Maier Festival Park will continue to host celebrations of culture as Festa Italiana and German Fest take place later in July. Irish Fest and Mexican Fiesta are slated for weekends in August. We take festivals to the streets, too. During the second weekend of July Bastille Days honors French culture in the downtown neighborhood called East Town. Brady Street, just north of downtown hosts its annual festival on the final Saturday of July. The Milwaukee Air and Water Show is back at the lakefront on July 25th and 26th with the Air Force Thunderbirds. Milwaukee is a city that's always celebrating in the summer.
