Bill Crooks has joined Grundfos Pumps Corp. as customer service center di- rector responsible for over- seeing customer service and applications engineering teams at the company's Olathe, Kansas facility. Crooks brings exten- sive staff lead- ership experience to the global pump manufacturer. Marcia Kellogg has been named director of marketing at Leggette, Brashears & Graham Inc., a professional groundwater and environ- mental engineering services firm. Kellogg will oversee all internal and ex- ternal commu- nications and business devel- opment activi- ties for the firm nationwide including media relations, advertising, social media, website, presentation development, trade show planning, proposal produc- tion, and publications. She has 21 years of professional services marketing experi- ence, having served in vari- ous leadership and marketing roles for architectural, engi- neering, and construction management firms through- out Connecticut Xylem Inc., a global water technology company, an- nounced Jayanthi (Jay) Iyen- gar has joined the company as senior vice president and chief innovation and technol- ogy officer. In this newly cre- ated position, Iyengar will lead the company's global research and design, tech- nology, and innovation activities. Iyengar joins Xylem from Eaton Corp., a global power management company, where she most re- cently served as group vice president of engineering and technology for the company's aerospace group, and chief technology officer. Mazzei Injector Co. LLC, a manufacturer of injection systems and fluid processing solutions, announced the ad- dition of Jim Lauria as vice president of sales and mar- keting. Lauria has been a leader in water and waste- water for more than 15 years and has had articles pub- lished in prominent water industry publications worldwide. He will be re- placing Paul Overbeck who is retiring. Jeff Hyson, director of sales for Pentair-Water Solu- tions, has been named to the Water Systems Council Board of Directors. He replaces Dan Borah, who left Pentair after six years to pursue other in- terests. Hyson joined Pentair in 2012 as di- rector of sales for Pentair's Electronic Pro- tection busi- ness where he managed the sales of Schroff brand products into diverse vertical market customer seg- ments. Before joining the Pentair-Water Solutions team, he was sales process director for Pentair's Flow and Filtration Solutions global business unit. The Water Systems Council is a national nonprofit organiza- tion focusing on household wells and small water well systems. 3M acquired Capital Safety Projects on June 29. Capital Safety Products is a global provider of fall protection equipment, one of the fastest- growing safety categories within the global personal protective equipment indus- try. Capital Safety's industry- leading product line and solutions include harnesses, lanyards, self-retracting life- lines and engineered systems sold under well-known global brands DBI-SALA and Protecta. McElroy Manufacturing of Tulsa, Oklahoma, announced the addition of a new rental partner, Morain Sales & Serv- ice, which will serve as a rental house offering a full line of polypropylene pipe fusion products. The Mineral Ridge, Ohio-based company will rent fusion tools and accessories primarily to McElroy's polypropylene distributors in the United States. Morain has had a long relationship with McElroy, having specialized for more than 26 years in McElroy products for polyethylene pipe used widely in water and natural gas distribution systems. CH2M HILL—a global en- gineering firm specializing in government, industrial, infrastructure, and energy projects—announced it has adopted a refreshed brand and logo designed to better reflect its clients' needs and its own ambitions for growth. The company has also adopted a simpler brand name, CH2M. The company was founded in Oregon nearly 70 years ago by three young engineers and their professor to solve local water challenges. The company's brand name is a nod to the values and hearts of its founding fathers—Cornell, Howland, Hayes, and Merry- field—literally "CH2M." In-Situ Inc. has launched HydroVu, a new website for remote water monitoring. HydroVu provides customers secure access to decision- quality data when, where, and how they need it. In-Situ took their industry-leading expertise in water monitoring software and user experience design and paired it with their instruments and teleme- try systems to provide a total- solution offering. HydroVu allows for up-to-date access to data while simplifying the task of filtering the data for important results. Roy Myers, one of the founders of Myers Bros. Well Drilling Inc. in Hanford, Cali- fornia, passed away on June 29. Myers was a pioneer in the water well drilling busi- ness in the vast San Joaquin Valley for more than 60 years.
