22 • SEPTEMBER 2015 • WORLD FENCE NEWS DoorKing and Nice add dates on U.S. Tour 2015 Access control systems manufacturers DoorKing, Inc., headquartered in Inglewood, Calif. and Nice Group USA (formally Nice/Apollo), based in San Antonio, Tex., have announced additional dates for a series of product promo- tional seminars with their independent distributors throughout the U.S. Richard Sedivy, DoorKing's director of marketing, stated, "The products of the two companies complement each other very nicely. We felt that we could provide a bigger bang for the distributors' time and effort that they put into these seminars by making it a joint effort. Dealers will also benefi t as they will see more products in a single setting." Nice's president, Davide Pesca, added, "We wanted to make this an indus- try event and have some fun with it! We have several seminars already sched- uled, and there will be more to come throughout the year as we reach out to our independent distributors and dealers in all parts of the country." Tour dates recently added are: September 14 at Pro Access Systems in Chi- cago, Ill.; September 23 at Access Control & Gate Automation in Huntington Station (Long Island), N.Y; October 13 at AXS Distribution in Denver, Colo.; October 15 at AXS Distribution in Salt Lake City, Utah; and October 20 at AXS Distribution in Albuquerque, N.M. To register for one of the seminars, dealers should contact the distributor directly. Both companies stated that additional tour dates are coming and that they will be announced once dates and locations are fi rm. "Our independent distributors are excited about the Tour and are happy to see this different format being made available to them. The tournament will begin at noon with a shotgun start, and include numerous prizes, including long drive, closest to the pin, longest putt, and a $10,000 hole in one contest. The cost is $135 per golfer or $475 per foursome.
