TACO INTRODUCES VIRIDIAN 3452, ECM
CIRCULATOR FOR COMMERCIAL SYSTEMS
Taco's now-expanded ECM, wet rotor
Viridian line includes the VR3452 high
efficiency wet rotor variable speed circula-
tor for chilled and hot water applications,
offering up to 34 feet of shut-off head and
52 gpm flow. All settings are accomplished
with the user-friendly interface. The per-
manent magnet ECM motor saves up to
85% of the electrical energy compared to conventional pumps.
It's available in 115 or 230 volts and has standard flanges and is for
easy installation. The optional communication module provides:
Ethernet and Modbus RTU communication, analog control input
0 - 10 V, three analog inputs/outputs, one relay output, main and
standby operation. The VR3452 also comes with an industry
standard flange.

UPONOR'S NEW PRE-INSULATED PEX PIPE
OFFERING MEETS ASHRAE AND IECC
ENERGY-CODE REQUIREMENTS
Uponor North America is extending
its current pre-insulated crosslinked
polyethylene pipe offering to include
insulation thicknesses up to 2" to
comply with the ASHRAE 90.1-2013
Energy Code and the 2012 International Energy Conservation
Code (IECC). The new offering includes both Uponor AquaPEX®
pipe for potable plumbing applications as well as Wirsbo hePEX™
oxygen-barrier pipe for hydronic heating and cooling applications.
Uponor is also offering a completely new line of Pre-insulated
Wirsbo hePEX pipe for hydronic heating and cooling applications.
