zoo this month include
two Halloween-inspired
weekends, as well as a
Family Free Day on Oct.
10 and Wolf Awareness
Day on Oct. 17.
Boo at the Zoo
Oct. 16-17, Boo at the Zoo,
sponsored by Sendik's
Food Markets, fills the
pumpkin patch with
hand-carved, glowing
pumpkins. Visitors can
ride the "Raven's Rail"
train. Many scary, but
family-friendly activities,
will add to the fun from
6-9pm Friday and
Saturday.
The Halloween
Spooktacular
Oct. 23-24, also is
sponsored by Sendik's
Food Markets. Children
are welcomed to trick-or-
treat through the zoo and
march in the Halloween
costume parade. Kids of
all ages will thrill to the
sight of animals enjoying
treat-filled pumpkins. Join
in the fun from 6-9pm.
Friday and 9am-9pm
Saturday.
Through Oct. 31, visit the
zoo from 9am-4:30pm.
Entrance gates close
45 minutes prior to zoo
closing time. Animal
buildings close 15 minutes
prior to closing time.
