Page 40 of 43 January 2016 | Boating Industry | 41 CHRIS-CRAFT CALYPSO 26 Chris-Craft introduced the fi rst of a new range of dual console boats at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the Calypso 26. The Calypso 26 was designed for the family who enjoys water sport activities, casual fi shing or cruising. The boat is equipped with an enclosed head along with a wind door for extra coverage leading to the bow. It features fl exible foldup seating in the cockpit, giving owners the ability to tailor the boat to their specifi c needs. HONDA BF100 With a full-throttle RPM range of 5500-6300, the Honda BF100 is a high-performance, 4-cylinder, 1496cc (91.4ci) 4-stroke engine weighing in at 366 pounds (166 kg). Among other features, variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control utilize mild cam lobes to operate intake valves at low rpm, then engage a high-output lobe for higher-rpm operation. Programmed Electronic Fuel Injec- tion delivers the precise amount of fuel/air to each engine cylinder. FLOVER 55TGS The Flover 55TGS is designed for harsh saltwater environ- ments. Its shaft is ceramic-coated aluminum. The motor's metal parts are either stainless steel or have a corrosion- resistant fi nish. The 11-inch propeller has a sacrifi cial zinc anode. An SUS thyristor is added for high-power switching. Its low weight and powerful 55 lbs. of thrust make the Flover 55TGS ideal for use on a dinghy or tender, or as a dedicated fi shing motor. At less than 29 lbs., the outboard is easily brought aboard by racing sailors. fl PCM HYPERFOR- MANCE ENGINE Pleasurecraft Marine Engine Company has introduced a new portfolio of water sports engines featuring direct injection technology, the HYPERFORMANCE H5DI and H6DI. Other engine features include a Catanium clean emission system, a custom-tuned intake manifold and all-aluminum construction of the engine block, heads, intake and exhaust systems. The engines also utilize an open loop cooling system. SEA RAY 400 SUNDANCER The 400 Sundancer made its offi cial debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The 400 Sundancer has an open fl oorplan to create connected social zones throughout the boat. The salon features large windows and a power- actuated sunroof to let in natural light. Seating, including an L-shaped lounge, accommodates up to eight people, and a triple-pane entry door and retractable cockpit SureShade extend the entertainment space outdoors. The bow lounge features multi-position sun-pads and an optional shade system.
