About the cover: Bergerson-Caswell Inc. completes a residential
geothermal project in August 2015 in Big Sky, Montana. The
project consisted of 14 boreholes to 360 feet deep. The project
was up in the Rocky Mountains, so the drilling was quite varied.
It included andesite, limestone, shale, 160 feet of slide (broken-
up rocks and sand). "Easily one of the most scenic jobs we have
ever done, which almost made the
pain of drilling it worthwhile
. . . almost," says David Henrich, CWD/PI, CVCLD, vice president
and board member of the National Ground Water Association.
